History

The house, in which the ANETA Hotel and Restaurant is situated, was built in the 1930s by the family of Jan Hanousek, a carpenter and then the operator of a popular guesthouse with home cooking.

The building, built in a beautiful location overlooking a wide valley lined with Krkonoše peaks, bore the elements of a typical building of the 1930s and was distinguished by its sober architecture, blending in with the Krkonoše countryside. In the 1960s, the family sold the house to the national company Bytex Vratislavice. After 1989, several owners and tenants changed here, except for one short period of time it was still a restaurant.

In 2010, a family company of the current owners purchased the building and started a complete reconstruction of the building with an extension towards the valley. The aim was to preserve the quality tradition of the first republic of comfortable mountain accommodation combined with good home cooking. Guests of Hotel Aneta can also enjoy first-class fragrant coffee, sitting by the burning fireplace with a drink or the opportunity to enjoy the amazing views across the valley to the surrounding panorama from the spacious terrace. For motorists, there is an adjacent car park right next to the hotel.
